SCOTT LOGISTICS CORP. ANNOUNCES DONATION TO TOYS FOR TOTS
Freight Broker Collects 1,595 toys as part of company wide campaign

Rome, Georgia - Scott Logistics Corp., a nationwide leader in the freight brokerage industry, announces a gift of 1,595 toys to the annual Toys for Tots Program managed by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The collection of toys as part of the campaign has become an annual tradition at Scott Logistics.

According to the ToysForTots.org website, the mission of the program is "to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens."

According to Scott Logistics Owner Diane Manis, the staff is the driving force behind this charitable endeavor. "Our employees are very active in the community," according to Manis. "We have a lot of fun with this program. It is amazing to see how everyone responds with the joy and spirit of the season. We have an amazing group of employees, and they have now brightened Christmas for many children in our area."

As part of the initiative, teams were set up internally to create a little competitive spirit. "The teams add a little bit of fun," explains Scott Logistics President Jay Matthews. "We reward top teams and individuals with prizes, but the end result is the same. Our caring staff works toward the common goal of making the season brighter for those who really need it. We are very proud of what our employees do every day in their jobs, but we are also very happy they are great people who care about their community."
